Women's Month 2022

Women’s Day: a day of tribute, reflection, and recommitment

August is Women’s Month in our country. It is a recognition of and a tribute to the more than 20 000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956 to protest against the pass laws and the oppressive system that treated women as lesser beings who needed to be controlled and denied access to certain amenities and activities. It is also a recognition and a celebration of the crucial role that women continue to play in all facets of society.

We, the North-West University (mg不朽情缘试玩), add our voice in tribute to and celebration of the phenomenal women in our country, especially Team mg不朽情缘试玩 women who play a crucial role in our success and ensure that we remain focused on the realisation of our dream – to be an internationally recognised university in Africa, distinguished for engaged scholarship, social responsiveness, and an ethic of care.

We are proud of the progress we have made thus far to ensure a conducive environment that allows the promotion and strengthening of equity and equality among our staff and students.
